Format, minify and validate JSON in your browser. Errors are shown with the exact line and column, and numbers are kept exactly as written.
Developer Tools
Free developer tools to format and validate JSON, XML and SQL, encode and decode Base64 and URLs, generate UUIDs and hashes, and test regular expressions.
Encode text or files to Base64 and decode Base64 back to text or a downloadable file. Supports UTF-8, URL-safe Base64 and data URIs.
Convert a JSON array into a CSV file for Excel or Google Sheets. Nested objects become columns, and formula protection is on by default.
Convert CSV or TSV to JSON objects or arrays. Detects the delimiter, keeps leading zeros in phone numbers and PIN codes, and lists problem rows.
Encode text for safe use in URLs or decode percent-encoded strings, with component, full URL and form (+ for space) modes.

Utilities for everyday development work
These tools cover the small conversions and checks that interrupt coding: pretty-printing an API response, decoding a token to see its claims, encoding a value for a URL or generating a unique ID for a test fixture.
Safe for sensitive data
All processing happens in your browser. Tokens, keys and payloads you paste are not sent to our server. Even so, treat production secrets with care: clear the page when you are done, and rotate any credential you have shared in places you do not control.
Standards
Encoders and formatters follow the relevant standards (for example RFC 4648 for Base64 and RFC 3986 for URL encoding). Where a tool cannot fully validate something, such as checking a JWT signature without the key, it says so on the page.
